Heritage Day, which takes place on September 24 each year, is a day dedicated to honouring and celebrating the vast array of cultural traditions that are present in our nation. The people of South Africa  come from a wide range of different backgrounds and celebrate this day by acknowledging the rich cultural heritage of the country's diverse population.
